At least a couple came out
decently! This on was the best. The nearly full moon, (2 days before the January
21st lunar eclipse), on Kodak Gold 400ASA film. The camera was set at prime focus.
The exposure was set by the cameras light meter. This one is completely untouched.
I digitized it with an Epson FilmScan 200 at 1024x768 and reduced it for the web
page. Taken:

Eyepiece projection with
the standard Meade 26mm plössl. Slightly over-exposed. The brightness/contrast
was editited in Photoshop, and an Unsharp Mask was applied... Heavily! (All my
closeups look more like CCD shots!) Taken:

Something I have yet to
have explained to me is why 2 shots of the moon, using exactly the same method,
(as above), comes out in a different colour! Taken:

Same editing as above but
using my Meade UWA 6.7mm plössl. Taken:

Another thing I haven't
been able to figure out yet is the bright patch I get in some of my lunar images.
When I took the picture I figured it being some sort of reflection on the Cameras
mirror. I wasn't expecting to see it on film! Taken:

A rather featureless image
of Tycho I had to spruce up with some heavy Unsharp Masking. (Help! I'm an Unsharp
Mask junkie!) Taken:
